J Balvin’s fourth Jordan collaboration, the “Rio” Air Jordan 3, is set to launch in Summer 2024. His first partnership with Jordan Brand was in December 2020, introducing the “Colores Y Vibras” Air Jordan 1, followed by the Air Jordan 2 in 2022, and the Air Jordan 3 “Medellín Sunset” in 2023.
 
Named after his son, Rio, born in June 2021 to J Balvin and his girlfriend, Valentina Ferrer, the “Rio” release is a heartfelt tribute. Specific connections to his son are yet to be revealed.
 
Expect the Air Jordan 3 “Rio” to sport a sleek Black, Solar Flare, and Total Crimson Abyss color combo. the shoe features a Black leather base with Grey elephant print overlays on the toe and heels. Other details includes a gradient midsole, translucent heel tabs with J Balvin’s logo.
 
Unique elements honoring Rio will also be present.
